      Wunderbar! I just knew that this would get to him eventually, and that he would be genuinely impressed...Sina take a moment to really take this in; you will remember this your whole life; I want you to be really proud of yourself on this, Miss Humble! This time give yourself a big pat on the back! Ian has been my all-time favorite drummer my whole life (as you well know) since 'Hush'! To me, he was better than Bonham or Moon....So glad I kept bugging/begging you to do this! His parting words here are 'Brilliant , Great , Well Done!' (As you probably know, Sina, 'well done' is the highest compliment given by the Brits!!) LOL Congrats on well-deserved recognition

    I used to play all these songs as a drummer from back when these songs were popular and on the charts. I know every note of every instrument in every song you play and what Sina does is absolute perfection! I am amazed and blown away! I'm old and retired now in my 60's but i feel so inspired by your perfection Sina. Makes me want to play again! I learned about you a couple of years ago but the more i listen the more impressed i am. You play all these classic rock tunes with fantastic precision and you nail every note. Keep it up girl. I'm so happy someone is carrying on the tradition of great rock drummers. Thank you! Really, thank you! Keep up the real good work

    I've said bevore and will say it again : it's not just the technic that makes Sina an outstanding drummer. Though her technic is really extraordinary fine!
    But what makes her so special, is her feeling and her timing. She feels, how hard to hit and her timing is absolutely impeccable. She is fast, no doubt about that, but she can take her time if it fits the music.
    So that bundle of competetences and energy makes the difference to other musicians. She's really really good and she gets better day by day.

  • @julietp.5877
    @julietp.5877 6 лет назад +345

    Is it hot in here or what? Let's find out why...
    THE SONG - "Burn" was written by hard rock band Deep Purple members guitarist Ritchie Blackmore, keyboardist Jon Lord, drummer Ian Paice, and newly joined vocalist David Coverdale. Bassist Glenn Hughes, who also was a new member, was involved but contractual obligations prevented his name from appearing as a co-writer for many years. "Burn" was recorded in Montreux, Switzerland in November 1973, along with the other tracks for the album of the same name. Both album and single were released on Feb 15, 1974. The single version was edited down to 4:33 while the album cut, as covered here by Sina, is 6:05.
    The single did not chart well reaching #45 in the UK and #105 in the USA. The album did much better reaching #9 on Billboard's 200 albums on Apr 20, 1974 with 30 weeks on that chart. The song seems to be about a supernatural woman who "makes you burn with a wave of her hand" and "the city's ablaze, the town's on fire". Sounds a bit like a Stephen King novel :D The arrangement is classic Deep Purple - pedal to the metal. Fiery guitar licks by Blackmore answered by the same from Jon Lord's Hammond organ and ARP synth. Coverdale is a close second to the man he replaced, Ian Gillan while Hughes and Paice provide a frenetic rhythm section.
    Drummer Ian Paice has the distinction of being the only original Deep Purple member. He has been in the band from the beginning up to the present. He got his first drum kit at age 15 and joined Deep Purple in Feb 1968 at age 19. In the '70s he used Ludwig drums. He plays left-handed and is known for his fast single and double stroke rolls and there is said to be a "Drummers World" video in which he demonstrates a one-handed roll.
    THE COVER - There never was any doubt about Sina's ability to handle an Ian Paice drum part. She has had plenty of previous experience - there are two covers of "Smoke On The Water" - one a collaboration with Emma Marie and Lucy Gowen, the second a regular drum cover, in her older videos. If you check through her collection of drum tutorials, you'll find "How To Play Smoke On The Water". If you need more, look for her cover of Deep Purple's "Woman From Tokyo".
    Sina definitely burned through this cover with her usual precision. She recently complained about how hot her basement studio was becoming. If she keeps doing drum workouts like this, I hope she gets a fan! And the sweat? That's a sign of a job well and properly done - a badge of honor. Own it!

    /////////(you may see this post scattered around on several of Sina´s videos on RUclips, but you only need to read it once thank goodness😁😁😁)///////////
    Hello everyone. Sina might be embarrassed by this post because of her modesty. I try to do my modest part in spreading the word of Sina´s amazing talent to as many people as I can. Sina´s videos have well over one hundred million views (and counting) on RUclips. Over ten million alone on her Deep Purple cover of ¨Smoke on the Water¨ and nearly 14 million views on Dire Straits "Sultans of Swing". She has almost four hundred thousand subscribers and untold ´likes´ and positive comments on RUclips. Her video output is staggering (she even finds time to do tutorial videos for aspiring drummers). You´re probably thinking that she must be filthy rich because of all those views. The truth of the matter is that all of her covers are copyrighted by the original artists. Any advertising revenue from these cover videos go directly to the original artists, not to Sina. There's nothing wrong with that. Original works should be protected. However, have you ever seen a harder worker than Sina? (seriously have you?). It is astounding to me the untold number of hours she must put in to practice all these covers to such perfection (and still have a life!). She gets more exercise in one drum piece than most of us get in a month. She unselfishly shares the spotlight with her many very talented collaborators. Anyway, my point is that I´m sure she would be eternally grateful if more people watched more of her own original works, her original arrangements, and her ¨Chi Might¨ projects . They may seem unfamiliar at first, but you will soon find that they are every bit as good (if not better) than her covers. Really, you are missing some amazing stuff if you only watch covers. Maybe we could all try to watch one original piece for every cover we watch. Just a suggestion. I know a lot her fans are not in a position to support her financially. However, some of of you may be able to afford even a small (one $ per week) contribution to her Patreon account. Every bit will help her continue her amazing videos. Yes, I know she is now a member of a band (Beauty and the Beasts?😁).., but I suspect that at this early stage it is still more of a labour of love than a living wage. Imagine how proud we will all be (along with her family) when Sina wins her ´first´ Grammy Award. We can all say that we were behind her all the way (especially those who are able to support her Patreon account). Some of you can brag to your friends that you have been following her since she was 14 years old (see her amazing Van Halen ¨Jump¨ video). Watching Sina and her collaboration friends have reawakened in me a love of music. Who am I you might ask. Well I´m just a regular Joe of modest means who collaborated (ha) with my wonderful wife to raise two wonderful human beings of our own. Nothing more. Okay, okay, I'll shut up now. Go watch some more Sina videos. Click that like button, comment, subscribe, follow her various social outlets, share this post, share her videos, contribute to her Patreon account or her PayPal account if you can (details are in video description), shop her recordings and merchandise at girls-got-groove.com/home/ and most of all spread the word about Sina and her talented international collaborators, including her younger 'but taller' sister Milena. Just tell everyone you can including adults and young people to simply google ¨Sina-Drums¨. They will be hooked. There is no better entertainment out there in my opinion.

      Ken The Man McMillan she is pretty good at attempting to copy the masterful work of Ian Paice. She makes many mistakes in the piece and her meter is off a bit at times. Shows me just how amazing Ian Paice is. He created it. Many will try, but you can’t replace a master. She’s young, she can learn and rehearse, but you can’t teach talent. She’s ok. But she’s no legend. She most likely will never be.

      or being the best, all her followers say this. I know nothing about drumming! but still I enjoy these young females taking on the legends in music. Check out the songs on Chi Might l & ll,

      @@Im_FreeMan я вот переслушал еще раз - на самом деле впечатление получше сейчас) при первом прослушивании почему-то намного больше бросились в уши неровности исполнения. Но на самом деле помимо огрехов музыкальных тут весьма любительская техника игры как таковая, что, к сожалению, в будущем возымело свои последствия - Сина сама не так давно рассказывала в одном из видео, что в настоящее время играет традиционным захватом (левой рукой по-джазовому палочку держит) не просто так, а по причине хронической заигранности левой руки. То есть играть таким хватом, как тут, она просто не может из-за болевых ощущений. И по-моему, в том, что все оказалось так фатально запущено с техникой, не последнюю очередь могли сыграть именно такие восторженные отзывы вместо конструктивной критики, которая могла бы дать стимул к работе над ошибками в нужный момент.

    I like watching your videos where the drums come to the fore, maybe it's better than the original. And I like that proud smile at 4:58, I always smile with you. Nice work! Thanks

    Anyone who can come even close to Ian Paice is a great player in my Book, even not being a drummer I can see the skills and talent Sina has, kudos! Great cover.
